Mountain biking is a very dangerous sport, Bike Queenstown Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that happen during your time at any Bike Queenstown Holiday. It is mandatory to have adequate insurance to cover serious injury, death, mountain rescue and any loss/theft of personal goods or bicycle.
By booking with us you are agreeing that you are aware that mountain biking is a hazardous sport that carries a lot of risks and dangers, including the risk of serious injury and even death. You also accept full responsibility for the risks inherent in mountain biking and h environment. Through booking you agree to release and indemnify Bike Queenstown LTD, their employees, contractors, officers, and owners, from all claims for any injury or damage resulting from any cause, including negligence.
If booking on behalf of other parties and minors, I recognise that I may not release any claims the minor may have. However, I accept full responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of the minor's participation. I also agree to release and indemnify Bike Queenstown LTD and their employees, contractors, officers, and owners for any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor. This also applies to any of Bike Queenstown partners or third parties associated with Bike Queenstown.
Mountain biking, guiding, heli biking, and shuttle services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, environmental hazards, and equipment failure. By participating in these activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to take full responsibility for your participation. All participants are strongly advised to ensure they have adequate personal insurance coverage, including medical expenses, evacuation, and equipment loss.
You the customer maintain the right to cancel your booking at any time providing it is submitted in email/writing from the group leader. However you will be subject to BikeMorzine LTD's cancellation charges stated below. Customers must notify us in writing (Via email) of cancellations. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our cancellation policy outlined at the time of booking.
- Within 48 hours of making a booking - 100% Refund
- More than 80 Days before your arrival date - 50% Refund
- Less than 80 Days before your arrival date - 0% Refund
Under highly unlikely circumstances beyond Bike Queenstown LTD's control it may be necessary to make alterations to a confirmed booking or to cancel the booking completely. Whilst Bike Queenstown LTD will make every effort to make sure this does not happen, however if it is unavoidable, Bike Queenstown LTD will contact the group leader as soon as possible and offer compensation of full refund of any monies paid. No other compensation will be offered. This compensation does not include events amounting to Force Majeure.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, and other unforeseen circumstances ("Force Majeure"). In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements, but refunds or compensation may not be available.
Cancellations and Refunds
Complaint Resolution:
For any issues or concerns related to our services, please contact us promptly. We aim to address complaints within 14 business days and, where necessary, will liaise with third-party providers to seek a resolution.
Bookings may be cancelled by Bike Queenstown Limited within a 48 hour grace period to avoid the event of double bookings. Customers will be notified immediately.
The accommodation provided as part of our mountain biking holidays is sourced from third-party suppliers and partners ("Accommodation Providers"). While we are not the direct providers of these accommodations, we take steps to ensure that all Accommodation Providers meet New Zealand's relevant rental standards and health and safety requirements. Regular checks are conducted to verify that the accommodation meets these standards at the time of our assessment. However, as the accommodation is managed independently by our partners, we cannot accept liability for any issues arising directly from their management or operation. Any concerns or complaints about the accommodation should be promptly directed to us so that we can liaise with the Accommodation Providers on your behalf.
It is within the companies rights to take a damage deposit from guests. This is purely a precautionary measure and will be refunded in full providing there has been no damages/breakages to any properties, furniture or any other contents of your accommodation. In the event that you do not provide a damage deposit, Bike Queenstown limited reserve the right to charge the cost of any damages to a customers card that we hold on file.
If you cause any damages, nuisances during your holiday to the property/furniture/products/other guests property etc. will be charged the FULL cost of this damage. This charge covers any breakages, vandalism, theft and/or loss of any property of Bike Queenstowns or our partners. If inappropriate behaviour is deemed to cause nuisance, disruption or dissatisfaction to another guests holiday then you will be charged for the compensation paid to the effected guests. If a sole individual cannot be held responsible for a certain incident then the funds may be withdrawn from ANY members of their groups deposits.
The bikes provided for hire as part of our mountain biking holidays are sourced from third-party suppliers and partners ("Bike Hire Providers"). While we are not the direct providers of these bikes, we work closely with our Bike Hire Providers to ensure that all equipment is well-maintained, regularly serviced, and suitable for the intended activities. However, as the bikes are owned and managed independently by our partners, we cannot accept liability for any issues arising directly from their maintenance or operation. If you encounter any problems with the hired equipment, please notify us immediately so we can liaise with the Bike Hire Providers to address the issue.
Our Guiding, Heli Biking, and Shuttle services are provided by independent third-party suppliers and partners ("Service Providers"). These activities inherently involve a degree of risk due to the nature of mountain biking, terrain, and environmental conditions. While we ensure that all Service Providers meet the necessary qualifications, have undergone rigorous health and safety audits, and comply with all relevant New Zealand laws and safety standards, we cannot guarantee the elimination of all risks. By purchasing and participating in these services, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and agree to take full personal responsibility for your participation. It is mandertory that you have adequate personal insurance coverage for these activities. Any concerns or issues should be promptly brought to our attention so we can assist in resolving them with the Service Providers.
During any part of a Bike Queenstown holiday you are expected to behave in an orderly, respectable and acceptable manner. If their behaviour was to threaten the condition of the accommodation, disrupt other users experience, put any staff or guests in danger or seriously affect the enjoyment of other guests, Bike Queenstown reserves the right to refuse to accommodate the guilty party further and any contractual obligations will be terminated. The guilty party will be liable for the cost of any damage so caused (as stated above).
All persons undertaking any activities operated by Bike Queenstown LTD accept and understand that these activities contain an inherent level of risk of death and personal injury, no claim pertaining to injuries, loses or death sustained whilst participating in one of Bike Queenstown holiday or activities will be entertained nor liability accepted by Bike Queenstown
Bike Queenstown LTD will not be held responsible for the loss/theft or misplacement of any personal belongings and/or vehicles from your accommodation or any 3rd party premises. Please consider this when packing for your holiday and leave expensive and/or valuable personal belongings at home.
